William Keasberry (born 1726 – died 15 November 1797) was an English actor and theatre manager. He was also known as Keasbury. Most of his career happened in the city of Bath, Somerset, during the 1700s.

Who Was William Keasberry?
William Keasberry was born in London. His father was also named William Keasberry, and his mother was Catherine Liddell.
He first learned about the "china business" in London. But he decided to become an actor instead. The stage seemed more exciting to him.
Keasberry's Acting Career
William Keasberry joined the Edinburgh theatre in 1755. From 1757 to 1795, he worked at the Orchard Street Theatre in Bath. He was both an actor and a manager there. He became a manager in 1760, sharing the job with William Wyatt Dimond.
Besides Bath, he also acted in other cities. These included Bristol, London, and Richmond.
Setting Up New Theatres
In 1760, Keasberry and Richard Griffith created a temporary theatre. This theatre was in Winchester. They set it up because a large army camp was there with eight regiments.
Keasberry's Family Life
On August 30, 1773, William Keasberry married Henrietta Hamilton. She was also from a family of actors. They got married in New Brentford, Middlesex.
William and Henrietta had several children:

He was buried at St Thomas à Becket's church. This church is in Widcombe, Bath.
