Willie Clarke is an American musician and songwriter. He is famous for writing popular songs like "Clean Up Woman", "Rockin' Chair", and "Willing and Able".
Willie Clarke and his college friend, Johnny Pearsall, started their own music company called Deep City. This company was based out of Johnny's Records store in Liberty City, Florida. Deep City was very important because it was the first independent record label in Florida owned by African American people.
Clarke was also featured on a TV show called Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. He appeared in the Miami episode in 2015.
