Woleu-Ntem is one of the nine provinces that make up Gabon. It is in the northern part of the country. The province gets its name from two important rivers: the Woleu River and the Ntem River. These rivers are a big part of the local geography.
The province covers a large area of about 38,465 square kilometers. This is roughly the size of a small European country. In 2013, about 154,986 people lived in Woleu-Ntem.
