Land and Planning
The land where Woolah is located is part of a special area. This area is recognized under Australian law as belonging to Aboriginal people. It is known as the Yurriyangem Taam native title claim area. The community also has a plan for how its town is set up. This plan is called Woolah Layout Plan No.1.
