Woyanqudi's Rule
Woyanqudi was known for being a very strict ruler. He made many changes when he became Chanyu. He removed people who had supported the previous leader, Xulüquanqu Chanyu. He even removed some of his own relatives from important positions.
The End of His Reign
Woyanqudi died in 58 BC. After his death, the Xiongnu Empire faced big problems. It split into several different groups that started fighting each other. By 55 BC, two of the strongest groups were led by the sons of the previous Chanyu, Xulüquanqu. These two leaders were Huhanye Chanyu and Zhizhi Chanyu.
