Why This Album Was Made
When Xuxa's daughter, Sasha, was born in 1998, Xuxa noticed something important. There weren't many good music products for young children in Brazil. She saw Sasha dancing to music videos from other countries. This made Xuxa realize that Brazil needed more fun and educational music for kids.
Xuxa always wanted her work to teach good messages. But she also knew that the way to reach little ones needed to be different. The visual part, like music videos, was very important for this. So, she decided to create something new and exciting for children.
What's Inside the Album
The music videos for Xuxa só para Baixinhos 1 were inspired by popular shows from other countries. For example, some ideas came from American shows like Barney and Australian shows like The Wiggles. If you look up the original songs, you might see that the video styles are similar. This includes the movements, how the camera is placed, and the scenery.
For this first album, Xuxa and her team wanted to make sure it was a success. They used ideas that were already working well outside Brazil. Over time, in later Só Para Baixinhos albums, they added more of Xuxa's unique style.
