You and Me was a popular children's television show from New Zealand. It was hosted by the well-known entertainer Suzy Cato, who was born in Australia. The show first aired in 1992 and became a big hit. Over seven years, more than 2000 episodes were made!
The Story of You and Me
The show started in July 1992. For the first year, until September 1993, Pauline Cooper was one of the main presenters. She helped make the show fun for kids.
Years later, in the late 2000s, You and Me returned to New Zealand television. It was shown on channels like TVNZ 6 and TVNZ Kidzone 24, so new generations of kids could enjoy it. There was even a special version of the show made for other countries. This version still featured Suzy Cato, but some of the Māori words were removed to make it easier for international viewers to understand.
