The Young America City Hall is a special old building in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, United States. It used to be where the city's leaders worked. Today, it is a private home where a family lives.

A Building with History
The Young America City Hall was built in 1909. It served the city of Young America for many years. In 1997, the city of Young America joined with its neighbor, Norwood. Together, they became Norwood Young America, Minnesota.
By the year 2000, the old city hall building was changed into a single-family home. This means it became a house for one family.
From City Hall to Home
This large building is about 4,000 square feet. It still has many of its original features. You can still see its old bell tower and beautiful tin ceilings. There's even an original ticket window inside! The building also has its first hardwood floors. One part of the building was even turned into a basketball court.
The people who owned the building most recently had a cool idea. They wanted to live on the second floor. They planned to turn the main floor into a youth center. This would have been a place for kids and teens to hang out. However, their plans changed when they had to move for work.
Today, the building has four bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a formal dining room. These rooms are all on the upper level. There are also four bathrooms. A new loft area was added. This loft has a library with a cozy gas fireplace. It also has a recreation room and even a recording studio.
