Yuji Miyahara (宮原 裕司, Miyahara Yuji, born July 19, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder during his career.

Yuji Miyahara's Football Journey

Yuji Miyahara was born in Kitakyushu, Japan, on July 19, 1980. He loved football from a young age. After finishing high school, he joined a professional football club. This was Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1999. This club played in the J1 League, Japan's top football league.

Early Career at Nagoya Grampus Eight

Yuji made his first appearance for Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2000. However, he did not play many matches during his time there. He left the club at the end of the 2001 season. After a break of five months, he found a new team.

Playing for Avispa Fukuoka

In 2002, Yuji joined Avispa Fukuoka. This was his local club, and they played in the J2 League. The J2 League is the second-highest division in Japanese football. He played many games as an attacking midfielder for Avispa Fukuoka. However, he did not play any matches in 2004.

Moving to Sagan Tosu and Cerezo Osaka

In 2005, Yuji moved to another J2 club, Sagan Tosu. He started in every match for them until September. In September 2005, he went on loan to Cerezo Osaka. This club was in the J1 League. He played many matches for Cerezo Osaka as a substitute in 2005. But in 2006, he hardly played at all.

In June 2006, Yuji returned to Sagan Tosu. Even after returning, he did not play many games.

Time with Ehime FC

In June 2007, Yuji moved to Ehime FC, another J2 League team. After joining Ehime FC, he played every minute of every match in 2007. In 2008, he continued to be a regular player for the first half of the year. But he played less towards the end of 2008.

Returning to Avispa Fukuoka and Retirement

In 2009, Yuji Miyahara returned to his local club, Avispa Fukuoka. This was his second time playing for them. He played many matches during this season. At the end of the 2009 season, Yuji decided to retire from professional football.
