Yuji Miyahara (宮原 裕司, Miyahara Yuji, born July 19, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder.

Yuji Miyahara's Football Journey

Starting His Career

Yuji Miyahara was born in Kitakyushu, Japan, on July 19, 1980. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career. In 1999, he joined Nagoya Grampus Eight, a team in the top Japanese league, J1 League.

He made his first appearance in 2000. However, he did not play many matches during his time there. He left the club at the end of the 2001 season.

Moving to New Teams

After a short break, Yuji Miyahara joined his hometown club, Avispa Fukuoka, in 2002. This team played in the J2 League, which is the second division. He played many games as an attacking midfielder for them.

In 2005, he moved to another J2 club called Sagan Tosu. He was a starting player in almost all their matches that year. Later in 2005, he joined Cerezo Osaka, a J1 League team, on a temporary loan. He played several matches as a substitute for them.

Later Years in Football

Yuji Miyahara returned to Sagan Tosu in June 2006. However, he did not play as much as before. In June 2007, he moved to Ehime FC, another J2 League team. After joining, he played every minute of every match for the rest of 2007.

In 2008, he continued to be a regular player for Ehime FC for the first half of the year. But his playing time decreased towards the end of 2008.

Retirement from the Game

In 2009, Yuji Miyahara returned to his local club, Avispa Fukuoka, for the second time. He played many matches for them during that season. At the end of 2009, he decided to retire from professional football.
