Native Title Rights
The land where Yulga Jinna is located has a special legal status called "native title." This means that the Nharnuwangga people, through the Jidi Jidi Aboriginal Corporation, have proven their traditional rights and interests to this land under Australian law. Education for Kids
Children who live in Yulga Jinna and are old enough for school attend the Yulga Jinna Remote Community School. This school teaches students from kindergarten all the way up to Year 10.
How the Community is Managed
The Yulga Jinna community is managed by its own group called the Yulga Jinna Aboriginal Corporation. This group was officially formed on April 30, 1993, under a law called the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976. This law helps Aboriginal communities manage their own affairs.
Planning for the Future
