Yuzo Tamura (田村 雄三, Tamura Yūzō, born December 7, 1982) is a Japanese professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of J2 League club Iwaki FC.

Yuzo Tamura's Football Journey
Yuzo Tamura was born on December 7, 1982, in Shibukawa, Japan. He grew up loving football and became a professional player. Later, he switched to coaching and became a successful manager.
Playing Career: From College to Pro
Yuzo started his football journey in college. He played for Chuo University from 2001 to 2004. After finishing college, he became a professional player.
In 2005, Yuzo joined Shonan Bellmare, a professional football club. He played as a midfielder for six years. He was a dedicated player for Shonan Bellmare until he retired from playing at the end of the 2010 season.
Managerial Career: Leading Iwaki FC
After his playing career, Yuzo Tamura moved into football management. In December 2015, he joined Iwaki FC. He started by working in the team's scouting department. This means he helped find new players for the club.
On January 1, 2017, Yuzo became the manager of Iwaki FC. He was in charge of leading the team. Iwaki FC had big goals, including moving up to the J. League.
Getting the S-Class License
To manage a team in the J. League, coaches need a special license. It's called the JFA official S-Class coaching license. Yuzo did not have this license when he first became manager.
Because of this, Yuzo stepped down as manager after the 2021 season. He became the sports director for 2022. While working as sports director, he took the S-Class license course. He successfully earned his S-Class license in 2023.
Return to Management
With his new license, Yuzo Tamura returned as manager of Iwaki FC. This happened on June 14, 2023. He took over from the previous manager, Hiromasa Suguri. Yuzo continues to lead Iwaki FC today.
