Zaida Muxí Martínez was born in 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is an Argentine architect and a city planner. This means she designs buildings and helps plan how cities are organized.
Zaida Muxí studied at the University of Buenos Aires. She earned her highest degree, a doctorate, from a special architecture school in Seville, Spain. Later, she became a professor at the Upper Technical School of Architecture in Barcelona.
Designing Cities and Spaces
Zaida Muxí is a co-director of a special program. It's called the Máster Laboratory of the House of the 21st century. This program is at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She works with Josep Maria Montaner on this project.
She also writes for a newspaper section called Cultura/s in La Vanguardia. Her work often looks at how people experience spaces. She especially focuses on how spaces affect different genders. This means she thinks about how buildings and cities work for everyone.
