Zaim Topčić (born February 28, 1920 – died July 15, 1990) was a famous Bosnian writer. He wrote many interesting novels. He won the Annual Award of the Association of Writers of Bosnia and Herzegovina twice. He received awards for his novels Lump of Sun and Black Snows. His son, Zlatko Topčić, is also a well-known writer who has won this award twice.

Zaim Topčić was born in a town called Glamoč on February 28, 1920. His family was Bosniak. He spent most of his life living in Sarajevo.
Education and Family Life
Zaim Topčić studied at the University of Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics there. He was married to Naila Selimić. They had two children, a son named Zlatko Topčić and a daughter named Vesna.
Zaim Topčić's Career
Zaim Topčić was involved in World War II in Yugoslavia. He joined the Yugoslav Partisans in 1941. After the war, he worked as an editor for the radio station in Sarajevo.
Role in Writer's Association
He also served as the secretary general for the Association of Writers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is an important group for writers in the country. His son, Zlatko Topčić, later held similar roles in the same association.
