Zheng Zhihua (simplified Chinese: 郑智化; traditional Chinese: 鄭智化; pinyin: Zhèng Zhìhuà) is a famous Taiwanese singer. He was born on November 14, 1961. When he was two years old, he got sick with polio. This illness caused his legs to become paralyzed, meaning he couldn't move them.

Despite this, Zheng Zhihua started his music career in the late 1980s. He became very popular in the early 1990s. People loved his songs in both Taiwan and mainland China. He announced he would stop singing in 1999, but he returned to music in 2005.

Zheng Zhihua is best known for his inspiring songs. Two of his most famous hits are Sailor (Chinese: 水手) and Star Lighting (Chinese: 星星点灯). These songs often talk about hope and strength.

He also has other popular songs. These include 33 Pieces (Chinese: 三十三块) and Snail's House (Chinese: 蜗牛的家). His music often tells stories and shares important messages.

Life Today

Today, Zheng Zhihua lives in Taipei, Taiwan, with his family. He still travels to China often. He goes there to perform his music and manage his other business activities.
