Zinedine Ferhat (born March 1, 1993) is a professional footballer from Algeria. He plays as a midfielder for the French club Angers. He also plays for the Algeria national team.

Zinedine Ferhat's Football Journey
Zinedine Ferhat has played for several football clubs. He started his professional career in Algeria. Later, he moved to France and then Turkey.
Playing for USM Alger
Zinedine Ferhat began his professional career with USM Alger in Algeria. He made his first appearance in a league game on November 19, 2011. He was only 18 years old at the time.
In his second season, Ferhat became a very important player for the team. He played in 30 matches. He scored his first two goals on February 2, 2013. That season, he helped USM Alger win two big titles: the Algerian Cup and the UAFA Club Cup. He also won an award for the best young player in the league.
In the 2013–14 season, Ferhat played an amazing role. He helped USM Alger win the league title after nine years. They also won the Super Cup. He played in 31 matches, scored five goals, and made eight assists. In his last season with the team, he helped USM Alger reach the CAF Champions League Final for the first time. They didn't win, but he helped them win another league title. He also made 10 assists that season.
Moving to Le Havre
On June 13, 2016, Ferhat joined Le Havre, a French club in Ligue 2. He signed a three-year contract. He played his first game for them on July 29, 2016. He scored his first goal on February 3, 2017.
In the 2017–18 Ligue 2 season, Ferhat was the best at giving assists. He set a new record with 20 assists in one season!
Playing for Nîmes
After his contract with Le Havre ended, Ferhat joined Nîmes on July 3, 2019. This club plays in Ligue 1, which is the top football league in France.
Time at Alanyaspor
On July 22, 2022, Ferhat moved to Turkey. He signed a two-year contract with Alanyaspor, a club in the Süper Lig. He was given the number 10 jersey.
Back to France with Angers
On August 31, 2023, Ferhat returned to France. He signed a two-year contract with Angers.
Zinedine Ferhat for Algeria
Zinedine Ferhat has played for Algeria at different levels. He represented his country in youth teams and later for the senior national team.
Youth Teams
Ferhat was first called to the Algeria under-20 national team on March 24, 2010. He played in the 2010 UNAF U-20 Tournament. In 2012, he scored a penalty against Morocco in a play-off game.
He was also part of the Algeria under-20 team in the 2013 African U-20 Championship. Even though Algeria didn't get past the first stage, Ferhat played so well that he was chosen for the "team of the tournament." In November 2015, he played for the Algeria under-23 national team in the 2015 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.
