Zoink'd was a fun and silly TV game show made for kids! It aired in Canada on the YTV channel. The show started on March 15, 2012, and finished on August 20, 2013.
This show was all about adults showing off their "weird and wacky" talents. But here's the twist: the judges were kids! Four children decided if the adults' acts were good enough. The show was produced by Pivotal Media in Toronto. It was hosted by Adam D. Christie and was a perfect watch for families on Saturday evenings.
How the Zoink'd Game Worked
Zoink'd was a talent show with a unique setup. Kids got to be the judges, and adults were the performers! Each grown-up had just one minute to entertain the child judges.
The Zoink'd Lever System
The judges had special levers. If a judge got bored with an act, they could pull their lever.
- If one judge pulled the lever, confetti would shoot out!
- If another judge got bored, they would pull their lever too. This might make more confetti or even balls fly out!
- But if one or more judges were really bored, they would pull the lever to release a big splash of goo! When the goo came out, the performer was eliminated from the show.
Winning the Zoink'd Title
The goal was to keep the judges entertained and avoid the goo! The performer who managed to impress the judges the most, and avoid getting "zoink'd" with goo, won the show. The winner earned the special title of 'Zoink Master' and also received $1000!
