About Zoli Ádok
Early Life and Beginnings
Zoli Ádok was born in Szeged, Hungary. He is the second child in his family and has one sister.
His journey in performing arts started in 1996. After finishing his dance studies in Pécs, he began working with the Hungarian Festival Ballett. Later, he joined the Le Dance Contemporary Dance Company.
Zoli then traveled the world as a dancer and musical actor. He performed in the musical Fame in Switzerland. From 2002 to 2004, he was part of the musical Cats in Berlin.
Music Career and Eurovision
In 2008, Zoli released his first album, titled "Tánclépés".
A big moment in his career was in 2009. Zoli represented Hungary at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with his song "Dance With Me". His song was chosen after some changes in the selection process. He competed in the semi-final but did not make it to the final round. However, he did win the Barbara Dex Award, which is given for the most unique outfit.
In 2011, Zoli released his second album, named "Három álom".
Performing on Cruise Ships
After his albums, Zoli Ádok began performing on luxury cruise lines. This allowed him to continue his career while traveling the world.
- From 2012 to 2013, he performed with Crystal Cruises.
- From 2013 to 2015, he was a lead vocalist for Celebrity Cruises. He sang on ships like the Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Solstice.
- Since 2016, Zoli has been a lead vocalist on Princess Cruises. He has performed on the Grand Princess, Golden Princess, and Star Princess. He was the first Hungarian lead singer in Princess Cruise's history in 52 years. He also helped open a new show called Born to Dance on these ships.
