Zsanett Jakabfi (born on February 18, 1990) is a former professional footballer from Hungary. She was a talented player who spent many years playing for VfL Wolfsburg in Germany's top women's league, the Frauen-Bundesliga. She played as a defender and was known for her strong performance on the field.
Her Football Journey
Zsanett started her football career in Hungary. She played for MTK Hungária in the Hungarian women's league, called the Női NB I. She played there from 2007 to 2009.
In 2009, she moved to Germany to join VfL Wolfsburg. This was a big step in her career. She played for Wolfsburg for 12 years, until 2021. During her time there, she played in 191 games and scored 70 goals. She also played a few games for VfL Wolfsburg II, which is their second team.
Zsanett was also a key player for her country. She was a member of the Hungarian national team from 2007 to 2020. She played in 62 international matches for Hungary and scored 3 goals. She announced her retirement from football at the end of the 2020/21 season.
