École pour l'informatique et les techniques avancées, usually called EPITA, is a private school in France. It is a special kind of school that doesn't aim to make money.
EPITA has campuses in several French cities. These include Le Kremlin-Bicêtre (which is near Paris), Rennes, Lyon, Strasbourg, and Toulouse. The school first opened its doors in 1984.
This school focuses on different areas of IT, which means computer science and technology. EPITA is part of a larger group of schools called IONIS Education Group. It is also recognized by Conférence des Grandes Écoles, a special organization for top French engineering schools. Joël Courtois has been the head of EPITA since 1997.
