Óscar Marcelino Álvarez (25 May 1948 – 28 April 2016) was an Argentine former professional football player. He played in Argentina for Banfield and Newell's Old Boys between 1968 and 1970 before reappearing in Greece. In 1980 he was transferred to Atromitos where he played until his retirement in 1981.
Álvarez died on 28 April 2016 in Athens, Greece at the age of 67.
