Østerbro is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It's a really nice part of the city, located just north of the main city center. Long ago, there was an old city gate called Østerport nearby. This gate was moved around the year 1700. Today, the Østerport Station is close to where it used to be. Østerbro has always been a fancy and wealthy part of Copenhagen. It's still one of the richest areas today!

Østerbro covers an area of about 11.84 square kilometers. Around 68,769 people call Østerbro home. It has neighbors like Nørrebro to the west and Hellerup to the north. To the east, you'll find the beautiful Øresund strait.
