124 Street starts at Jasper Avenue and heads north. It forms the border between two neighbourhoods: Oliver and Westmount.
Connecting Major Avenues
This street helps connect Jasper Avenue to 102 Avenue. 102 Avenue is an important road that goes between downtown Edmonton and the west side of the city. In the past, parts of 124 Street were even part of old highways!
Different Sections of the Street
As 124 Street continues north, you'll see a mix of shops, homes, and businesses. When it reaches 109 Avenue, it changes to mostly homes. North of 111 Avenue, it enters the Inglewood neighbourhood.

Yellowhead Trail Connection
124 Street currently has a traffic light where it meets Yellowhead Trail. This allows access to nearby industrial areas. However, this intersection is planned to close in the future. A new interchange will be built at 127 Street as part of upgrades to Yellowhead Trail.
