The 2002 Vancouver municipal election happened on November 16, 2002. This election was held to choose who would lead the city of Vancouver. Voters picked people for the City Council, the School Board, and the Park Board.

The Coalition of Progressive Electors (COPE) won a lot of seats. They took 8 out of 10 spots on the City Council. They also won 7 out of 9 School Board seats and 5 out of 7 Park Board seats. The Non-Partisan Association (NPA) won fewer seats this time. They got 2 Council seats, 1 School Board seat, and 2 Park Board seats. The Green Party of Vancouver also won 1 School Board seat.

In the race for Mayor, Larry Campbell from COPE won. He beat Jennifer Clarke of the NPA. Larry Campbell received about 58% of the votes, while Jennifer Clarke got about 30%.
