The 2013 season was the very first season for Major League Ultimate (MLU). This league plays a sport called Ultimate Frisbee. The season started on April 20, 2013, and ended on July 13, 2013.
The big final game, called the Championship, was played between the Boston Whitecaps and the San Francisco Dogfish. Each team played 10 games during the regular season. The Boston Whitecaps made history this season. They were the first and only team in the league's history to go undefeated. They won all 12 of their games, including the playoffs! The uniforms for the teams were made by a company called Five Ultimate.
