The 2023 Northwest Territories Scotties Tournament of Hearts was a big curling competition. It was held from January 11 to 15 in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. This event helps decide which women's curling team will represent the Northwest Territories.
The winning team, led by Kerry Galusha, earned the chance to play in the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. This is Canada's national women's curling championship. It took place in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Meet the Teams
Curling teams have four players. Each player has a special role:
- Skip: This is the team leader. They decide the strategy and throw the last two rocks.
- Third: Also called the vice-skip, they throw the third and fourth rocks. They also help the skip with strategy.

- Lead: This player throws the first two rocks of each round.

How the Tournament Worked
The tournament started with a round robin stage. In a round robin, every team plays against every other team once. This helps to see which teams are the strongest.
