Lawrence Carl Demetrious White, known to many as 40 Glocc, is an American rapper. He was born on December 16, 1979.

Early Life
Lawrence White was born in Greenville, Texas. When he was 10, he moved with his mom to different places in California. They finally settled in Colton, California, a city in the Inland Empire.
He started rapping with his friends. By 1997, his group, called the "Zoo Crew", was making their first album. It was named Migrate, Adapt or Die and was produced by Tony G and Julio G.
Music Career
40 Glocc signed a deal with Empire Musicwerks. This helped him release his first solo album, The Jakal. Famous artists like Bad Azz, Ras Kass, Kurupt, and Mac Minister were featured on the album. Producers like Battlecat and Dr. Dre also worked on it. After this album, he left Empire Music.
His manager also worked with a group called Mobb Deep. Mobb Deep was part of G-Unit Records. 40 Glocc then joined Infamous Records, which was also under the G-Unit label.
Working with Other Artists
40 Glocc has worked with many well-known artists. These include Dr. Dre, The Alchemist, and Havoc. He also continued to work with his own group, the "Zoo Babies". He promoted his own music label, "ZooLife Ent.".
He has toured with big names like G-Unit, Mobb Deep, Ray J, and Snoop Dogg. He released a song called "Where the Hammers At?". The music for this song was later used for G-Unit's song Rider Pt. 2. He then made a remix of "Hammers" that included G-Unit.
In 2010, 40 Glocc signed rapper Ras Kass to his Zoo Life label. That year, he released a digital album called "COPS". It featured artists like Jayo Felony and Tony Yayo. In 2011, 40 Glocc and Spider Loc released an album called "Graveyard Shift". The next year, he released his first solo album.
