Kids Encyclopedia Facts

A'eron Island is a small island off the coast of Oregon in the United States. It's located near where the Umpqua River meets the Pacific Ocean. The island is about 800 feet wide and 1600 feet long.

You can reach A'eron Island in a couple of ways. When the tide is very low, a natural sand path appears. This path connects the island to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. If the tide is high, you can only get to the island by boat.

What is A'eron Island Like?

A'eron Island has different types of plants. You'll find various grasses, bushes, and pine trees growing there. It's a natural place with no big buildings or structures.

Animals on the Island

The island is home to many animals. Small burrowing rodents live near the center of the island. You might also see signs of larger meat-eating animals, but they might not live there all the time.
