A3 Basket is a women's basketball team from Umeå, Sweden. The club started in 2012. It was formed from the women's team of KFUM Umeå, called "Umeå Comets." When KFUM Umeå decided to stop their women's team, a new club was created.
The new club was first named Umeå BasketBollklubb (Umeå BBK). They joined the top Swedish league, Basketligan dam, in the 2012–13 season. In their first year, they finished fifth and reached the semifinals. They also played in the BWBL, an international league.

Team Name History
The official name of the club is still Umeå BasketBollklubb (Umeå BBK). However, the team's public name has changed a few times. This happened because the club sold the rights to its name to different sponsors.
From Umeå BBK to Udominate Basket
For most of the 2010s, the main sponsor was a company called UDOMiNATE Sweden AB. They made a deal with Umeå BBK to use their name. So, the team became known as Udominate Basket.
Becoming A3 Basket
In 2018, a new company, A3 Sverige AB, bought the name rights. Since then, the club has been known as A3 Basket. This is why the team has had different names over the years.
