Different Ways to Read the Book
Lorin Morgan-Richards made the first edition of this book very special. It was like his first book, Simon Snootle and Other Small Stories. He made a small, handmade version. It had a dark blue cover that looked like leather. The pages inside were sewn by hand. The cover showed Rune from the main story. He seemed to be wearing different cultural items.
A paperback version of the book came out in 2014. Its cover shows Rune with a rat. The rat is teaching him how to write. The young vampire Zoog is also behind them. This paperback book has two extra stories. They were not in the first edition. These are "A Rare Benign Belbow" and "Willy Nillee and the Red-Tailed Squirrel."
