What's the Story About?
A Day with Wilbur Robinson tells the story of a boy who visits a very unusual family. He spends the whole day at the Robinson house. Wilbur's best friend helps search for Grandfather Robinson's missing false teeth. Along the way, he meets many of the wacky and wonderful Robinson family members!

- Lewis is Wilbur Robinson's best friend. He is 12 years old. Lewis visits the Robinson home and helps search for Grandfather Robinson's missing teeth. He gets to meet all the amazing Robinson relatives.

The Movie Version
Walt Disney Animation Studios made a 3-D computer-animated movie. It is called Meet the Robinsons and came out on March 30, 2007. Stephen J. Anderson directed the film.
How the Movie is Different
The movie has a part that looks like the book's story. But most of the movie is very different from the book.
- Lewis and Wilbur's special hairstyles in the movie are just like in the book. Many other Robinson characters also look similar.
- Mr. Robinson is different in the movie. In the book, he has dark hair and appears early. In the movie, he is the future version of Lewis and only shows up at the end.
- The movie also shows that Wilbur is more than just Lewis's best friend. It turns out Lewis is Wilbur's father in the future!
- The elementary school Lewis goes to in the movie is named after the author, William Joyce. It's called Joyce Williams Elementary School.
