History of Aaron
A post office was opened in Aaron in 1908. A post office is where you send and receive mail. This post office was named after Adison Aaron, who was the very first postmaster there. A postmaster is the person in charge of a post office. The post office in Aaron stayed open until 1990, when it closed down.
A very brave soldier named Garlin Murl Conner was born in Aaron. He lived from 1919 to 1998. He received the Medal of Honor, which is the highest award for military bravery in the United States.
