Aaron Benjamin's Soccer Journey
Aaron Benjamin started his professional soccer career in 1999. He joined the Edmonton Drillers team. This team was part of the National Professional Soccer League. He played in five games for them and scored one goal.
Playing for Toronto Lynx
Later that summer, Aaron signed with the Toronto Lynx team. They played in the USL A-League. On June 1, 2000, he scored his first goal for Toronto. It was a great moment in their 4-1 victory over the Connecticut Wolves.
In his first season with Toronto, Aaron scored five goals. He also helped the team reach the playoffs, which was only the second time in the club's history. He played in all the playoff games. However, the team was eventually knocked out by the Rochester Rhinos.
