Aaron Joseph Meeks was an American actor. He was born on April 26, 1986. He is most famous for playing Ahmad Chadway. This was on the TV show Soul Food. It was a family drama series that aired from 2000 to 2004. During his acting career, Aaron won two NAACP Image Awards. He was also nominated three times for a Young Artist Award.

Aaron Meeks began acting when he was a child. He was part of the Cornerstone Theater Company. This group helps people tell stories through plays. His brother, Andrew, was also a child actor.
Aaron first appeared on TV in 1999. It was on a medical show called Diagnosis: Murder. In 2000, Aaron acted in the TV movie A Storm in Summer. He played a character named Herman D. Washington. He starred alongside actor Peter Falk. Their characters became unexpected friends. People thought Aaron's acting in this movie was very good. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2001 for this role.
Aaron also played a young Cassius Clay in Ali: An American Hero (2000). Cassius Clay later became the famous boxer Muhammad Ali. Aaron also acted in the TV movie Bojangles (2001). This movie was about the dancer Gregory Hines.

Aaron Meeks is best known for his role as Ahmad Chadway. Ahmad was a teenager who went to a special school. Aaron played this role on the drama series Soul Food. He also told the story of the show as Ahmad. Aaron was on the show from 2000 to 2004.
For his role as Ahmad, Aaron won two NAACP Image Awards. These awards are given to people of color in entertainment. He won for Outstanding Youth Actor in 2001 and 2002.
