Professional Wrestling Journey
Starting in WWE's Developmental League
Brian Jossie began his wrestling career in January 2008. He signed a contract with WWE and started training in their special development program. This program was called Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).
In February 2009, Jossie made his first appearance in FCW. He used his real name, Brian Jossie, and did not have a special character yet. Soon after, he was given a new role. He became the FCW General Manager, acting like a leader in charge. He was first known as Abraham Saddam Washington, then later as Abraham Obama Washington.
In March 2010, Washington returned to FCW. He brought back his talk show, The Abraham Washington Show. He also sometimes worked as a commentator, explaining the matches. On November 14, 2010, Jossie wrestled his first match in about a year and a half. He then continued to compete regularly in FCW.
Joining ECW with The Abraham Washington Show
Jossie made his debut on the ECW television show on June 30, 2009. He used the name Abraham Washington. His main role was hosting an interview segment called The Abraham Washington Show.
On his show, he interviewed many famous wrestlers. These included The Bella Twins, Christian, Matt Hardy, and Tommy Dreamer. A wrestling legend named Tony Atlas was his sidekick and announcer. Their show was a popular part of ECW.
When the ECW show ended, Jossie became a free agent. This meant he could choose which WWE brand to join. However, he did not sign with Raw or SmackDown. Instead, he went back to FCW and continued wrestling there throughout 2011.
Managing Wrestlers in WWE
Jossie returned to WWE television in April 2012. On April 2, he appeared on Raw. He offered to manage Mark Henry, a strong wrestler. He gave Henry a business card for his talent agency, "All World Promotions."
He was also seen on Raw on April 16. He was watching Primo and Epico from the stage. On May 3, WWE announced that A. W. had signed Primo and Epico. Their valet, Rosa Mendes, also joined his agency. They were his first clients.
A month later, at the No Way Out event, Washington changed his mind. He stopped managing Primo and Epico. Instead, he joined the team of Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.
Jossie's last appearance in WWE was on August 10, 2012, on the Smackdown show. A few hours later, he was released from his WWE contract. This happened after he made a controversial comment on television. Jossie later said his release was not because of this comment. He believed it was because he posted a message online supporting a political campaign.
Wrestling After WWE
After leaving WWE, Brian Jossie continued to wrestle. On August 6, 2016, he made his debut for a wrestling company called Coastal Championship Wrestling. He used a new ring name: G.O.A.T. This stands for Greatest Of All Time.
At this event, G.O.A.T. won the CCW Heavyweight Championship. He defeated Stefan Guadalupe to become the champion. He continued wrestling until 2019.
