Abu Jahal Tratter (born January 9, 1993) is a talented basketball player from the Philippines and America. He plays professionally for the NorthPort Batang Pier team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for De La Salle University.

Abu Tratter's Basketball Journey
Starting in the Pros
Abu Tratter began his professional basketball career in 2018. He was chosen as the seventh player overall in the 2018 PBA draft by the NLEX Road Warriors team. The PBA draft is a special event where professional teams pick new players to join their league.
Playing for Different Teams
After starting with the NLEX Road Warriors, Abu Tratter moved to other teams.
- In September 2019, he was traded to the Alaska Aces. A "trade" in sports means two teams swap players.
- In June 2022, he signed a contract with the Converge FiberXers. This team took over from the Alaska Aces franchise.
- In April 2023, Abu Tratter, along with another player, was traded to the Magnolia Hotshots. This was another player swap between teams.
- Currently, he plays for the NorthPort Batang Pier.
College Achievements
Before joining the PBA, Abu Tratter had a successful college career. He played for the De La Salle Green Archers. During his time in college, he helped his team win important championships.
- He was a UAAP champion in 2016. The UAAP is a major college sports league in the Philippines.
- He also won the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup twice, in 2014 and 2016.
- In 2016, he was named to the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup Mythical 5, which means he was one of the top five players in that tournament.
