This shrub usually grows to be about 0.2 to 0.6 meters (or 0.7 to 2 feet) tall. It has pretty cream-white flowers that bloom from May to October, which is during autumn and spring in Australia.

This plant likes to grow on hills, rises, and ridges. It can be found in different types of soil, such as sandy soil, loamy soil (a mix of sand, silt, and clay), or clay loam soils. Sometimes, these soils also contain a type of reddish gravel called lateritic gravel.
