Acme is a small place in Dickinson County, Kansas, United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and buildings that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
History
Acme once had its own post office. It opened in 1897. People living there could send and receive mail right in their community. However, the post office closed down in 1906. This means it was open for about nine years.
