Adam Tensta (born Adam Momodou Eriksson Taal on August 1, 1983) is a Swedish rapper and singer. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden. His father is from Gambia, a country in West Africa, and his mother is from Finland.

Tensta is known for his unique style of hip hop. He is signed to a Swedish record label called RMH, which stands for Respect My Hustle. A record label helps artists record and sell their music.

Musical Career

Adam Tensta became famous with his first album, which was very popular in Sweden. His music has even been featured in video games.

Debut Album and Success

Tensta's first album, It's a Tensta Thing, was released in 2007. It was a big hit and reached the top of the music charts in Sweden.

Because of this album, he won a Grammis award in 2008. The Grammis is like the Swedish version of the Grammy Awards, and it's a huge honor for musicians in Sweden. He won in the Best Dance/Hip Hop/Soul category.
