Adana is a small town and part of the San Millán area in the province of Álava, located in the Basque Country, Spain.
Where is Adana?
Adana is located in a beautiful part of Spain. It's about 2 kilometers (a little over a mile) south of a town called Acilu and 2 kilometers east of Gauna. These nearby villages are part of the Iruraiz-Gauna area. To the east, Adana is close to the towns of Guereñu (about 3 km away) and Chinchetru (about 3.7 km away).
The town sits right next to the Santa Isabel stream, which is a small river. It's quite high up, at an elevation of 618 meters (about 2,027 feet) above sea level. South of Adana, you'll find lovely forests filled with oak and beech trees.
How many people live in Adana?
Adana is a very small community. It is bordered by the towns of Acilu, which is part of Iruraiz-Gauna. In 2010, official records showed that Adana had a population of 52 people.
