Adiato Djaló Nandigna (born November 6, 1958) is a politician from Guinea-Bissau. She once served as the acting Prime Minister of her country. She was the first woman to hold this important position.

Early Roles in Government
Adiato Djaló Nandigna started her political career in important roles. By 2008, she was the Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports. This meant she helped manage things like arts, sports, and activities for young people in Guinea-Bissau.
Before becoming Prime Minister, she was the Minister for Communications. She worked under Prime Minister Carlos Gomes Júnior.
Serving as Acting Prime Minister
Adiato Djaló Nandigna became the acting Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau on February 10, 2012. She held this position until April 12, 2012. She made history as the first woman to be Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau. She also acted as the government's spokeswoman.
Her time as Prime Minister ended due to a change in government. Later, in 2013, she was briefly held by security services.
Later Government Positions
After these events, Adiato Djaló Nandigna continued her work in politics. She became an adviser to President José Mário Vaz. In 2015, she was given the important role of Minister of Defence. She served in this position under acting Prime Minister Carlos Correia.
