Adrienne-Joi Johnson (born January 2, 1963), also known as A. J. Johnson, is an American actress, dancer, fitness trainer, and life coach. She has been acting since 1987. A. J. A. J. Johnson grew up in Fair Haven, New Jersey. She finished high school at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in 1981. She then went to Spelman College in Atlanta, graduating with honors in 1985. She is also a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
Acting Career
A. J. Johnson has had many roles on television. She appeared in popular sitcoms like A Different World and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She also acted in dramas such as In the Heat of the Night and Chicago Hope. Later, she was seen in The Jamie Foxx Show and Touched by an Angel.
