Adventure City is a fun amusement park located in Stanton, United States. It covers about 2 acres, making it one of the smallest theme parks in California. Every year, between 200,000 and 400,000 people visit this park. The park is right on the edge of Anaheim and Stanton. While the park itself is in Stanton, its parking lot and main entrance are actually in Anaheim.

History of Adventure City

Adventure City first opened its doors in 1994. It cost about $4 million to build. The park was an expansion of a nearby place called Hobby City, which had shops and museums.

The park was designed for families with children. It offered a more affordable option compared to other big amusement parks in the Los Angeles area. An old miniature railroad ride, which started at Hobby City in 1938, was made longer and became a part of Adventure City. A classic carousel from 1946 was also one of the first rides when the park opened.

In 1999, the park added a new roller coaster. They bought and fixed up a classic "Wild Mouse" style roller coaster from Australia. This ride was named Tree Top Racers. It was the park's first new attraction since it opened. Tree Top Racers closed permanently in 2012.

In 2005, Adventure City opened another new ride called Drop Zone. Later, in 2015, a new roller coaster called Rewind Racers opened. This ride cost $2 million and was built where Tree Top Racers used to be. Rewind Racers was the biggest investment the park had ever made. It was also the first ride of its kind in North America, built by a German company called Gerstlauer.
