Olushola Oluwaseun Ajose, known by his stage name Afrikan Boy, is a rapper born in Nigeria on March 28, 1989. He grew up in London, England. He is famous for his grime music, which is a type of electronic dance music that mixes hip hop and reggae. Afrikan Boy became well-known when his song "One day I went to Lidl" became very popular online.

Afrikan Boy has worked with many other artists. He was featured on the song "Hussel" from M.I.A.'s album Kala. M.I.A. is a famous musician who wanted Afrikan Boy to join her music label. A special version of M.I.A.'s song "Paper Planes" also featured Afrikan Boy.
Touring and Releases
Afrikan Boy toured with M.I.A. on her 2007 KALA Tour and 2008 People Vs. Money Tour. He also performed at the Splash! festival. On June 26, 2011, he released a free collection of songs called a "mixtape" titled "What Took You So Long" on his website. Later, on August 18, 2014, he released his album The ABCD with Yam Records.
