Afroditi Theopeftatou (Greek: Αφροδίτη Θεοπεφτάτου) was born on May 23, 1957. She is a Greek civil engineer and a politician. She was a member of the Greek Parliament from 2012 to 2019.
Afroditi Theopeftatou was born in Athens, Greece. She studied at the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras. After graduating, she worked as a civil engineer. A civil engineer designs and builds things like roads, bridges, and buildings.
During her time as a student, she was active in youth groups. Later, she became a politician. She was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Cephalonia. An MP is someone chosen by voters to represent them in the country's parliament.
She was elected with the political party called SYRIZA. She won elections in May and June 2012. She was also re-elected in January and September 2015.
Afroditi Theopeftatou also served as the secretary of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group. This means she helped manage the work of her party's members in the Parliament.
