Agraciada is a small village located in southwestern Uruguay. It's special because it sits right on the border between two different areas, called departments. Parts of Agraciada are in the Soriano Department, and other parts are in the Colonia Department.

History of Agraciada
Agraciada has been a recognized village for a long time. On June 28, 1939, a special law was passed. This law officially made Agraciada a "Pueblo," which is the Spanish word for village. This meant it was recognized as an official populated place.
