The Agua Caliente Casino is a fun place in Rancho Mirage, California. It's run by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, a Native American tribe. This casino has a huge area for games, over 45,000 square feet! It also has a tall hotel tower, which is 16 stories high. This tower opened in 2008 and is one of the tallest buildings in the Inland Empire.

A cool fact: the parking lot of the casino used to be a sandy desert patch. Famous comedian Jonathan Winters even drove a moving van across it in the old movie It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

The Agua Caliente Band also runs another casino nearby. It's in Palm Springs, California. This casino used to be called the Spa Resort and Casino. In 2019, it changed its name to Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs.

History of Agua Caliente Casino

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians planned this casino for a long time. On March 14, 2000, they announced their plans. They wanted to build a great casino that would cost about $80 million.

The Agua Caliente Casino officially opened its doors on April 6, 2001. It has been a popular spot ever since.
