Aguas Blancas (Salta) is a small village and rural area in Salta Province, Argentina. It is located in the northwest part of the country. This town sits right on the edge of the Bermejo River. This river acts as a natural border between Argentina and Bolivia. On the opposite side of the river, you will find the city of Bermejo, Bolivia.

Aguas Blancas is known for its farms. They grow many different kinds of fruits and vegetables. These include oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and mangoes. They also grow papayas, bananas, green peppers, and tomatoes. Other crops are watermelons, pumpkins, melons, strawberries, sweet potatoes, cassava, and coffee. Many of these special crops are grown to be sent to other places.

Climate

The climate in Aguas Blancas is a type of subtropical highland climate. This means it has warm temperatures for most of the year. It also gets a good amount of rain, especially during certain months.
