Ahmad Bradshaw's Football Journey
Ahmad Bradshaw was a very promising player in high school. Big college teams like Illinois, Michigan, and Northwestern wanted him. They even thought about him playing a different position, like cornerback.
Playing for Army
Ahmad chose to play for the Army Black Knights. He became their main quarterback for three years. This means he was a key leader on the field.
Before the 2016 football season, Ahmad briefly left the team. But he soon returned to play for Army.
Amazing Achievements
Ahmad had a fantastic final season in 2017. He helped Army have a great year, winning 10 games and losing only 3. He ran for an amazing 1,746 yards. He also scored 14 touchdowns by running the ball.
This was a record for a service academy quarterback. He also helped Army win the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. This trophy is given to the best team among the Army, Navy, and Air Force academies. It was Army's first time winning it since 1996.
Ahmad also made history by beating the Navy team two years in a row. He was the first Army quarterback to do this since Ronnie McAda.
