About Ahmed Bukhatir
Ahmed Bukhatir was born in Sharjah, a city in the United Arab Emirates. He is one of ten children in his family. His father, Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, was a very successful businessman.
When Ahmed was a child, he spent time at an Islamic center in Sharjah. There, he learned how to recite the Quran beautifully. This special way of reciting is called Tajwid.
Ahmed started singing professionally when he was 20 years old. His first album, called Entasaf Al-Layl, came out in the year 2000. Throughout his singing career, he has always performed without musical instruments. This is in line with Islamic Sharia law. Besides singing Islamic songs, called nasheeds, Ahmed also sings about important community topics.
Ahmed's Business and Public Life
Ahmed Bukhatir finished university in 1999. By the age of 29, he became the CEO of a company called Promax ME. Today, he leads the Mcfadden Group of Companies.
In public service, Ahmed was chosen by the Ruler of Sharjah to be a member of the Sharjah Council. This is like being a senator, helping to make decisions for the region. He is also a special representative, or "brand ambassador," for "Du Telecom." This is a big phone company in the UAE.

Live Shows and Concerts
Ahmed Bukhatir first performed live in 2002. He sang at a "Holy Qura'an" competition. Important leaders like Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais were there. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais is the leader of prayers at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Ahmed has traveled to many countries for his performances. He has visited India, South Africa, and Australia. In 2006, he performed at the Global Peace and Unity event in London, United Kingdom. He has also had concerts at Excel Hall and the Natural History Museum in London.
In July 2010, Ahmed performed at the "Journey of Faith" Conference in Toronto, Canada. In April 2012, he sang at a special event to help the Sightsavers Middle East foundation. Later that month, he performed at events in Dallas, Houston, and Chicago. In May 2012, he had concerts in Hartford, Connecticut.
In March 2018, Ahmed Bukhatir became a brand ambassador for the International Schools of Creative Science in the UAE. That same year, he toured Britain in April. His performances included shows in Blackburn, Dewsbury, Leicester, East London, and Cardiff.
