Aiko Miyanaga (born 1974) is a Japanese artist. She creates amazing sculptures and art installations. Her work often shows how time passes and changes things. She even uses special materials like naphthalene. This material slowly disappears over time, making her art change right before your eyes!

Growing Up and Learning
Aiko Miyanaga was born in 1974 in Kyoto, Japan. Her family were potters, meaning they made things from clay. Her father was also a ceramic artist.
She studied art at the Kyoto University of Art and Design. Later, she went to the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She finished her studies in 2008.
Where Her Art Has Been Shown
Aiko Miyanaga's art has been shown in many places. Here are some of her cool exhibitions:
- In 2014, she made a sound art piece called "Soramimimisora (Hearing Things)." It used ceramics to create sounds.
- In 2015, she took part in a special exhibition. This show was inside an exclusion zone near the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. No one could visit the exhibition in person. This was because the area was not safe for people to enter.
- In 2018, she had a show with another artist, Albert Yonathan Setyawan. This was at the Mizuma Gallery in Singapore.
- In 2019, she created an installation called "Hair Salon Kotobuki." This was for the Setouchi Triennale art festival. It took place in the Seto Inland Sea.
